Terms and Conditions

  1. All sizes and capacities are approximate.
  2. discounttrophies.co.uk makes every effort to ensure that your goods arrive to you within the specified delivery times by using accredited couriers, however we can not take responsibility for late or failed deliveries arising from incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer. All deliveries must be signed for by the customer or by a person acting on behalf of the customer. All deliveries are made during normal business hours Monday to Friday. If there is no one at the delivery address during those hours, this may delay the delivery of your order. UK sales tax (VAT) is not charged on orders exported outside of the EU. Customers are responsible for paying any tax and import duty which may be charged to them by their own country or state.
  3. We have one collection a day by our courier. Additional orders to the same address may leave in a separate consignment. To avoid unnecessary delivery charges please try and order all required goods at the same time.
  4. On engraved goods no responsibility can be taken by discounttrophies.co.uk for any mistakes made by the purchaser in ordering their goods.
  5. On engraved products all layouts are at the discretion of our expert engravers.
  6. Discount Trophies is a trading name for Quickfix UK Ltd.
  7. Once a proof of artwork has been approved by the customer and engraved on to glass items, those glass items cannot be returned or refunded if they are found to have a mistake in the wording or logo.


Cancellation Policy

The customer has the right to cancel an order within a reasonable period of time from ordering it, unless it is a last minute order which will be saving your event and job.
All goods must be returned in the same condition as they were received and must be packed in order to minimise damage to returned items.
All items returned broken will be charged for at full price.
Goods that have been engraved into the surface of the item (be it glass or metal) at the customer's request and after approval of artwork cannot be cancelled or returned.
All cancelled goods are returned at the customer's expense.
Please notify us by e-mail before returning goods, we will advise you within one working day of the return address for the product.
We will return the cost of cancelled product within 30 days of receiving the goods.
We do make a charge of 25% of the value of the order to cover the costs of re-polishing, packing and re-shelving awards.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If Discount Trophies are helping you with a last minute (ie ordered Tuesday for delivery Thursday as you have been let down by an alternative supplier) then they cannot be returned once engraved and delivered.
This time scale gives us no chance of correcting misspellings or items broken in transit and you will have to accept and use the items supplied for your event.
Any broken or misspelt awards will be replaced and sent at our cost to the recipient after the awards ceremony.
No refund will be given on last minute ceremony saving items ordered at the last minute as we are saving your award ceremony.


Returns

We must be notified by e-mail info@discounttrophies.co.uk of any damaged deliveries or missing items immediately , responsibility cannot be accepted for credit or replacement.

Returned goods will be accepted after confirmation by e-mail from discounttrophies.co.uk. This e-mail will contain details of where to send your returned items.

Goods cannot be returned if supplied engraved into the surface ie Glass awards, where the artwork has been approved by the customer before production.

We will return the cost of cancelled product within 30 days of receiving the goods.

Privacy

The privacy of all our offline and online customers is extremely important to us. Therefore no personal information is sold, traded or given to any other company or party outside discounttrophies.co.uk.

All our customer information is gained by question forms as part of the buying process, we do not use 'cookies' to obtain information without your knowledge. Any information received by us is used for 2 reasons: Firstly, to process your order and then to help create a better service and understanding of customer needs and requirements.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent by signing up to our newsletter or giving us your email address. Only people subscribing to our newsletter service or opening accounts will get e-mails regarding offers and relevant information.

Under the UK Data Protection Act 1984, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.


Complaints

While it is very rare that anyone would wish to complain about the level of service at discount trophies we like to make it very clear how to do so if you feel you have the need.

Please email us at info@discounttrophies.co.uk or phone 01892 522827 with details of any problems you may have experienced and we will do our best to put them right. Your complaint will be acknowledged ASAP and if possible it will be resolved within a day.

All complaints are confidential. We also welcome general feedback, as this allows us to improve our service to you.
